The apartment is located on the first floor of a building on Carrer del Pou Rodó, with an elevator—perfect if you’re bringing bikes. Situated in the heart of the Barri Vell, the apartment is not accessible by car. If you’re arriving by car, we strongly recommend parking before checking in. While it’s possible to get close to the apartment for unloading heavy luggage, please note that car access in the historic center is limited, and the narrow, one-way streets can be challenging to navigate.
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a 7 minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. Please note that the apartment is in a pedestrian-only area, so direct car access is unavailable, and parking nearby is prohibited. We recommend parking before checking in. There are both paid and free options available within a 5/10 min walk. The apartment is located on the first floor of a building with lift. Please be advised that the apartment is in the centre of the city. While Girona is not a busy ´24-7´ city, there may be some street noise if the windows are open. There are also many churches, and the bells toll every hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro; - From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro; - Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

Key landmarks, like the Cathedral of Girona and the iconic Eiffel Bridge, are just minutes away, while nearby plazas are perfect for relaxing and people-watching. The area’s unique blend of history, culture, and local life makes it a captivating place to explore and experience.
Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 40 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options. The historic quarter (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access (only 3x per quarter year), and you can’t just park in the streets. However, you can mostly stop near the apartment for a few minutes (Plaça de Sant Feliu) so you can unload your luggage, but after that you must park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartment. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Berenguer i Carnicer. It is just a 5 min walk away and they offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you. There is also free, outside parking available, for example at La Copa which is a 6 min walk away.
